For slightly longer trips, a 14-day visa is available, permitting a stay of up to 14 days. For those planning a longer vacation, a 30-day visa is ideal, offering a stay of up to 30 days. Finally, for extended visits, a 60-day visa is available, allowing a stay of up to 60 days. Each of these visa types is valid for 60 days from the date of issuance, providing applicants with ample time to arrange their travel plans.

Dubai Visa from Jordan

If you’re a resident of Jordan and planning a trip to Dubai, applying for a visa is a straightforward process, whether you’re traveling as a family or as an individual. Dubai offers both tourist and visit visas for Jordanian residents. The process can usually be completed online through the official Dubai visa portals or via agencies. Typically, families can apply for family visas, while singles can opt for individual tourist visas. Required documents include valid passports, photographs, and proof of accommodation. Processing times vary, but it’s advisable to apply a few weeks in advance for smoother planning.

Visa Types and Duration

There are multiple types of tourist visa offered by the government of UAE for foreign tourists. You can choose from the following types according to the duration of your visit.

  • You can apply for a 96-hour visa that will be applicable for 4 days from the date of your arrival. It will cost you around USD 55. The visa cannot be extended.
  • A one entry short term visa that will be valid for 30 days from the date of arrival is also issued. It will cost you about USD 90 and cannot be extended beyond the permissible duration.
  • You can also get a multiple entry visa for a short duration that will cost you about USD 175 and will allow you a 30 days stay. This visa will also not allow you to extend your stay and will be valid for 30 days from the date of your first arrival to UAE.
  • If you are planning to stay longer, you can go for a single entry long term visa which will cost you USD 330. This visa will be applicable for 90 days from your date of arrival and cannot be extended further.

A long term multiple entry visa can also be applied for. It will allow you to come to UAE more than once within a period of 90 days from your first arrival. This visa will not be extended beyond the mentioned time and will cost you about USD 475.

Documents Required for Jordan passport holders

Before submitting your visa application, make sure you have the following documents ready.

  • A recent color standard photograph.
  • A colored copy of your passport that has a validity of at least 6months from the date of applying.
  • A copy of your ticket.
  • A copy of visa application form with detailed address and telephone number of the place where you stay in Jordan and where you will be available when in UAE.

If you have a relative residing in UAE who is inviting you, a formal invitation letter will be needed on their behalf.

For employed tourists, a permission letter on the behalf of the employee is mandatory.

Rules and Regulations for Jordanian

Please keep the following things in mind while applying for a visa to UAE.

  • Your visa application will be considered incomplete without submitting the visa fees at the time of submission.
  • You will be granted a visa only if you enter and leave UAE from Dubai only by an Emirates flight or authorized partners.
  • The application may take upto 4 working days to process.
  • Entry to UAE is subjected to immigration approval.
  • Visa fees submitted by you will not be refunded under any circumstances. If you have a visa that has been used, you cannot claim a refund for flight tickets as well.

You need to arrive within a period of 30 days from the date on which the visa is issued for 96-hour visa. If you have applied for any other type of visa, you need to make sure you arrive within 60 days of the date on which the visa is issued.
